Pico Toning in Busan, Seomyeon
Brighter, clearer, in picoseconds,
pigment-free.
Pico toning uses picosecond-pulse laser energy to break pigment into smaller particles while limiting unnecessary thermal exposure to surrounding skin. It is commonly used for concerns such as uneven tone, freckles, sun-related pigmentation and post-inflammatory pigmentation. The treating physician selects the device, wavelength and settings after assessing your skin and pigment pattern.

What is Pico Toning?
Pigment, shattered. Skin, untouched.
Pico toning uses very short laser pulses to target melanin pigment with a predominantly photoacoustic effect. Compared with longer-pulse pigment lasers, the goal is to reduce unnecessary heat exposure while treating pigmentation. Device choice, wavelength and fluence depend on the pigment type and skin response. Newline Clinic's current public price material lists Toning at ₩100,000 for 1 session; the exact device and suitability are confirmed at consultation.
The science
,
simplified.
Understanding the mechanism helps you set realistic expectations and choose the right brand for your goals.
Pigmentation mapping
The treating physician assesses freckles, sun spots, melasma, post-inflammatory pigmentation and other pigment patterns because each can respond differently to laser treatment.
Skin preparation
Skin is cleansed and prepared. Comfort measures are selected according to the device, treatment intensity and individual sensitivity.
Picosecond laser delivery
The treating physician selects the laser device, wavelength and settings based on skin type, pigment depth and treatment goal. Current Newline public materials do not identify a specific pico platform for this page, so device availability is confirmed before treatment.
Post-treatment response
Temporary redness, warmth or darkening of treated pigment may occur. Improvement and the number of sessions vary by pigment type, settings and individual response.
